creating cultural connections
Celebrating the 13th festival in 2025, the Buttermilk Jamboree is a three day festival of music and arts that takes place at the beautiful Circle Pines Center in Delton, MI.
A truly family-friendly festival, the Buttermilk Jamboree features rustic overnight camping, dozens of local and regional performers, workshops, swimming, dancing, local food and goods vendors, craft beer and wine, dedicated kids area complete with performers and crafts, and SO much more!! Join us in June each year for a fun-filled experience of music, food, arts, education and community for the whole family to enjoy!!
Most attendees choose to camp in tents on site but there are a variety of lodging options available. Bring an RV (make sure to get an RV Pass), a pop-up camper, a tent or rent a cabin on-site. Not interested in staying the night? Day passes are available.
The event schedule will be available in the spring.
The Buttermilk Jamboree is a weekend that your family will be talking about for months and years to come. Our festival is truly a time to gather, play, rest, dance and retreat as you let the worries of the week fade away and enjoy music and community. Check out a preview of what we have to offer!!
The Buttermilk Jamboree attracts a diverse and eclectic group or performers. Past headliners have included: Las Cafeteras, Nikki Hill, May Erlewine, and Donna and the Buffalo. Take a look at our past lineups to see more!!
We are proud to be one of the most family-friendly music festivals in the area. A dedicated family camp area, a kid’s music stage, and a huge variety of activities will make this a weekend your family will look forward to each year.
Located on the sprawling grounds of the 300+ acres of Circle Pines, festival attendees typically enjoy camping for the weekend or renting one of the onsite cabins. There’s more to do than music!! Take a dip in the lake, go mushroom hunting, explore the trails, or join some of our workshops to learn something new.
It truly takes a village to make Buttermilk what it is. Get involved as a musical artist, a vendor or a volunteer or a workshop leader. Every person at Buttermilk has something to offer to the world, and the beauty of the Buttermilk Jamboree is found in what we can offer one another.
Want to jam with us in the woods? Have an amazing performer in mind? If you are a performer and would like to be considered for booking at the Buttermilk Jamboree, or a CPC member who would like to offer a suggestion, get in touch!
There are two ways to volunteer to help make the Buttermilk Jamboree possible. Volunteer beforehand at a Workbee Weekend to help get Circle Pines ready to host or help out during the festival and enjoy discounted admission and free swag!
The Buttermilk Jamboree would not be possible without the generous contributions of many local businesses, organizations and individuals throughout our community. A variety of sponshorship packages are available to suit your needs.
Food, craft, and non-profit vendors are invited to apply to be an official vendor for the 2023 Butermilk Jamboree. We prioritize vendors that source ingredients locally and have a focus on sustainability and just practices.
