Human Circle with Ally

Much like a women’s or men’s circle, this is a brave space for any human to come share what is on their heart and mind. Feel embraced and witnessed by fellow humans, hear their stories and share your own. Be vulnerable in a space where nothing is shared outside of circle. No advice is given unless asked for – purely a place to be deeply seen and loved for being a fellow human.

Community Connection Exercise with Mike

Many come to festivals solo, know only a few other people, or just want to connect with others. In this group activity, we will build connections, and get to know one another here at the festival.

Y-Not

Y-Not is both a band and a philosophy. This present moment is all we ever have. Why not embrace it, ourselves, and each other as authentically as possible?

The band exists to facilitate a message and a rhythm that speaks to the root of humanity using lyrics to help foster a recognition and embrace of our deepest truths individually, relationally, and societally. The music and atmosphere during shows is empowering, invigorating, and hopeful. With soundscapes involving elements of Alternative Rock, Roots Rock and Funk Jam, Y-Not invites listeners to take a journey of self discovery and dance the night away in community.

Cabildo

Cabildo is a West Michigan based alternative Latin rock collective that delivers a unique blend of cumbia, ska, folk and other genres of music from Latin and South America.

Cabildo roughly means Town Hall in Spanish. Historically, cabildos were gathering places located throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. They doubled as locations where African slaves could play traditional chants and drum parts. These were passed on through generations during Spanish colonization and continue to live on in today’s modern music.

Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers

Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers will make a sprightly young groove doctor out of anyone. With spectacular energy pulsating from every member of the band, the Rainbow Seekers could illuminate the very chambers of Heaven. Lead singer Joe Hertler splashes through lyrical puddles of golden rain, leaving his audience wearing flowery crowns and bubbling smiles. A ride on the Rainbow will take you across the mountains of Motown, through the fjords of folk, over the archipelagos of Americana, and-at last-into a funky firth, where only the fiercest of friendships can be found.
