CPC is a member run 501c(3) nonprofit whose purpose is to create, establish and maintain a center of cooperative culture and education in the United States, including a camp for the purpose of teaching through education, demonstration and otherwise, the superior advantages of cooperation as a way of life. The educational program shall be in accordance with the Rochdale Principles of consumer cooperation.
Our members fill a twelve-seat board of directors from among their ranks per the Bylaws whose role is to establish a vision for the future of the nonprofit and govern the organization towards these ends. At CPC, our Board governs via our Bylaws and our Policies. The Board also provides fiduciary and management oversight.
Our Ends Policy guides the organization in the decisions we make – from the products on the shelves to engagement in our community.

Circle Pines Center is a sustainable inclusive community for people to educate, practice, promote and maintain our values of social and economic justice, cooperation, equity, environmental stewardship and peace.
