MAPLE SYRUP WEEKEND IS TWO WEEKENDS THIS YEAR! The first weekend will include a mushroom cultivation workshop. (Because who doesn’t want to know how to do that?) and this weekend will include a needle felting with wool and general crafting. And of course, with a little help from mother nature, the sweet smell of boiling sap will fill the air this weekend here at Circle Pines Center! Please come join us for a weekend in the sugar bush when the forest transforms into this agricultural opus. Learn about maple sugaring, learn how to tap the trees, hang buckets, collect and boil sap, and create the ambrosial nectar we call maple syrup. The climax of the weekends’ efforts will be a lovely pancake breakfast where we savor the fruits of our labor. Join us for a day, all weekend or just stop in to see it all happening. We’ll offer a summer camp open house on Saturday from 10AM-5PM. Invite your friends and join us!
