At the most recent meeting the CPC Board set some strategic priorities for the next 3 – 6 months. If you have any questions you can reach out to any board member or to Romy Fitschen at chair@circlepinescenter.net.

  • ED Search, Hire and Transition
  • Support for the CPC Staff/Residential Work Trade workload while short staffed for ongoing needs
  • Ongoing governance policy work, including that related to the after action report and work trade policies
  • Existing infrastructure, land and operational needs, including repair and rebuild or completion of builds of housing
    • such as the green barn, whitehouse, new log cabin by Orchards, existing tenting area project, additional staff housing etc.
  • Staff and Rental housing will be our focus, as well as the structures in place to support those facilities
  • Strategic Opportunity exploration: USDA rural housing funds are becoming available. Housing committee and board will explore those programs to see if we can access these funds. Staff housing should be on the forefront, then rental housing for revenue, and of necessity, only later will we direct any energy onto other types of housing development.
  • A budget that is actually reflective of the staffing and projects we are going to work on
  • 85th Anniversary, plus other existing programming, summer camp, Buttermilk Jamboree, winter and spring programs etc.
  • Membership communication, stabilizing committee structure, bylaws, membership dues & fundraising efforts related to this or items above.
  • We want a slow down on energy on the co-housing and waterfront development and other proposed projects to focus on the strategic priorities for the short run.
