DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to say “De Skal Leve” to 2019? Join us for the annual New Years Getaway week at Circle Pines Center! Starting December 29th\, we welcome Circle Piners and friends of all ages to come and stay with us for three relaxing\, celebratory days and nights. We will be heralding in the new year and bidding farewell to the old with good food\, good company\, more than little good old fashioned fun! Enjoy fresh smoked brisket or on our new smoker during our New Years Eve dinner (vegan options available) then stay and ring in the New Year with new friends. \nWake up to yoga followed by hot breakfast among friends. In the afternoons\, join us for a sled\, ski\, or hike\, depending on the weather 2019 has in store for us. Check the forecast and pack accordingly – especially if you have your own skis! We plan to have a longer ski trek or hike down the North Country Trail with a return trip by car for the adventurers among us. Evenings will likely include campfires and star gazing.

DESCRIPTION:Songwriters Retreat: The 4th year! \nEarthwork Music\, Buttermilk Jamboree\, and Circle Pines Center are collaborating to host a Songwriting Retreat Weekend. 3 days\, Jan 24-26\, 2020. \nFacilitators: Joining us this year is Seth Bernard\, Sam Cooper\, Dede Alder\, and Nicholas James! Facilitators will act as one on one mentors and offer scheduled workshops throughout the weekend. Flexible free time will allow space for solitude or collaborating with other artists. \nArtists are the gateway to align people’s hearts\, minds\, and actions. Songwriting takes time in reflection\, to dig deeper into our truths and our connection to one another. Songwriters created this weekend to provide time and commitment to creating new songs to better ourselves\, our planet\, and our future. \nSongwriters Retreat tuition this year is $140-350 based on lodging. This payment covers both Friday and Saturday night accommodations\, food all weekend\, plus the workshops. \nWhether you’re learning as a beginner or signing up as a seasoned songwriter\, it’s invaluable to clear space and show up for your practice. There will be time to learn\, to write\, and to connect in community. There will be plenty of time to practice your personal process\, too.
